Wandisile Mandlana is a partner in the Johannesburg office of Bowmans, a Pan African law firm.
Wandisile has more than 15 years of practical experience in regulatory mining and environmental law. Before becoming a partner, Wandisile was an academic at Rhodes University (situated in Grahamstown, South Africa), and an in-house counsel at one of the major global mining houses.
Wandisile’s practice focuses on mining law; environmental law and regulated markets in general. He advises clients on a wide range of mining and environmental law law areas including on mining titles, disputes relating to issuing of mineral rights, disputes regarding overlapping and renewal of mineral rights; transfer of mining rights, environmental management in the mining context, water, land use planning and environmental impact assessments.
